1.Never send the same CV to all companies. Every CV you send must be tailored to meet the needs and demands of the job/company you are applying for/to.

2.Pick all your experiences in life – not just work – and tailor those (NOT LIE) to reflect the fact that you are the best candidate for the job.

3.Also, do your research and tell the company exactly what you can do for them. You don’t start working when you get the job, your work has to start while applying for the job.

4.Last but not the least, never send “an application for job”. Always target a position and indicate same.
