LESSON 1 – DILIGENCE
Be diligent in the way you conduct your work. Distinguish yourself in whatever you do.
LESSON 2 – DISTINCTION
Set yourself apart from the rest. Determine to be different.
LESSON 3 – ACCESS
Get your foot in the door even if it means entering at a lower level. Once you get in, continue looking around for bigger opportunities.
LESSON 4 – MODELING
Imitate the experts. I watched BBC anchors and imitated the way they presented.
LESSON 5 – AUTHENTICITY
Learn from others but develop your original and unique style.
LESSON 6 – PRIORITISE FAMILY
Spend time with your family. I make time to bond with my family and it’s a major focus of my weekend routine.
LESSON 7 – SLAVING
Sacrifice for what you believe in. Slave for the reward that will come at the end. I had to work long hours and school as I developed myself.
LESSON 8 – STRATEGY
Make strategic choices. Every notable decision you make must fit in the big picture.
LESSON 9 – PERSONAL FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT.
Manage your finances well. If you earn a lot and overspend, you’re poorer than another person who earns less but manages better.
LESSON 10 – THE PRESSURE OF SUCCESS
