Ladies and Gentlemen, I’ve come to your news feeds this blissful Tuesday to ask you not to listen to naysayers and dream killers.
In the good book of John 1:45-46, Philip spoke well of Jesus Christ to Nathaniel and even added he was the one the old prophets spoke and wrote about but instead of Nathaniel coming to meet Jesus, he rather questioned his authenticity with a loose comment;
“Nazareth! Can anything good come out from Nazareth? ”
When Jesus saw him and made prophecies about him, he then started raining appellations on a man he looked down upon few hours ago!
People will judge you by your hometown, family name, schools attended, ranks or positions you hold and work you do; but these surface things shouldn’t dump your spirit.
Remember, we live in a society where you aren’t regarded if you come from an unknown family or hold a lower rank or position; but if you were destined to make a difference, know one can stop you!
Let them look down upon you; but that wouldn’t stop you from becoming the something good that will come out from your family or community!
Are you still wondering if that womb will still bring forth something good after years of marriage? My sister, worry not; for the offsprings of your womb are going to become the heroes and heroines of your family and community!
Your family is yet to get a graduate or a Master apprentice; so you’re being looked down upon; I came to give you an assurance that, you’re going to be that first graduate or Master Artisan to bring glory to the family devoid of whatever people say about you!
In the church, people saw that poor widow going to the offering bowl but those who knew her said she had nothing better to give but at the end, her offering was what was recognized by Jesus Christ and not those fat bundles.
Verse 48-50 of John Chapter 1, later saw Nathaniel telling Jesus he’s the son of God and King of Israel! My brothers and sisters, those who who went about belittling your beginning or roots and questioning your works and those who doubted your authenticity in secret, are going to be your gong-gong beaters who will broadcast your name to the unknown world!
Let people ridicule and call you names because you don’t belong to the elite group; God doesn’t bless by the dictates of man, He blesses because He says so!!
May you become ‘The Something good that will come out from Nazareth’ and bring change to your family and society.
