Workplace safety is very important, no matter what industry. Although businesses, institutions and companies are required to protect their workers, it is also a moral responsibility to take care of employees as the labour Codes prescribes . When we leave for work, we expect to return home safe and sound.
A safe work environment is a productive work environment. As employees we should feel we are safe from COVID-19, workplace violence, natural disasters, fire threats, or medical emergencies when we step through the doors of our place of work.
